Lee McCulloch envisages the cinch Premiership title race going to the last day of the season because he still believes stuttering Celtic have too much quality to let in-form Rangers pull away in the run-in.
The Hoops looked destined for a procession to a third successive championship as Rangers floundered under Michael Beale early in the campaign.
However, Philippe Clement has galvanised the Ibrox side since his arrival in October, hauling them right back into the mix, with Brendan Rodgers’ side dropping points in six of their last 17 games.

Former Newcastle skipper Alan Shearer has blasted the decision which handed Paris St German a Champions League get out of jail card against his home town club “disgusting” and “s***”.
Shearer, the Magpies’ record goalscorer, voiced his frustration on social media after Polish referee Szymon Marciniak was asked to review his decision not to award a penalty when Ousmane Dembele’s cross hit Tino Livramento in the ribs and then hit the underside of his arm. The referee belatedly pointed to the spot.
Kylian Mbappe, who had been denied repeatedly by goalkeeper Nick Pope and his defenders, made no mistake from 12 yards in the eighth minute of stoppage time at the Parc des Princes to secure a 1-1 draw.
A superb battling away performance from every single play…

Neymar will not return from his anterior cruciate ligament injury until January 2025 at the earliest, Al-Hilal boss Jorge Jesus has warned.
Neymar left Paris Saint-Germain for Al-Hilal in a €90million deal in August 2023, becoming one of the faces of the Saudi Pro League s major recruitment drive.
However, he only played five matches for the club before rupturing his ACL while on international duty with Brazil last October.
The 32-year-old subsequently missed the remainder of the season as well as the Selecao s ill-fated Copa America campaign, and he remains some way away from a return.
Neymar was removed from Al-Hilal s Saudi Pro League squad in September, with the 19-time champions only able to register a maximum of eight foreign players for the first…
Qatar will participate in the 2019 Copa America, according to the director general of the Aspire Academy Ivan Bravo.
The Asian nation will host the World Cup in 2022 but are set to test themselves against the five-time winners of that competition Brazil, as well as two-time champions Argentina, in South America three years prior.
With the 2019 Copa set to be comprised of 16 teams for the second edition in succession, Qatar will be one of CONMEBOL s six invitees for the tournament in Brazil.
It will be the first time that Qatar has faced teams such as Brazil and Argentina, Bravo said at the Bilbao International Football Summit on Thursday.
It will be a unique opportunity for the national team to gain experience, so that it can compete on the right level …
Iliman Ndiaye is determined to shine for Everton, as he aims to give the club’s fans something back for the love they have shown him since he signed.
Ndiaye was brought in from Marseille in the summer, and has made a bright start to life at Everton.
He scored his first Premier League goal on Saturday, putting Everton 1-0 up against Leicester City, though Sean Dyche’s team – for the fourth game running in all competitions – gave up their lead.
Everton managed to hold on to claim their first point of the season, and there was good news for the club on Monday, as it was confirmed The Friedkin Group, which also owns Serie A club Roma, had struck a deal to buy Farhad Moshiri’s majority stake.
While the formalities of that deal are completed, Everton …
World football chief Sepp Blatter has played down concerns over delays to renovation work being carried out on the stadiums which will host the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Work on 12 sites was scheduled to begin in May 2010 but in several cases has been delayed, causing concern the stadia will not be finished by the December 31, 2012 deadline.
FIFA president Blatter gave his full backing to the organisers.
There are a few problems, just like there were in the early stages for Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010, Blatter told Lance sports daily.
If there were no problems, then we could start staging the matches as of tomorrow!
He added: For the moment, I m happy with the progress of the work. I ve no doubt it will be a hugely successful World Cup.…
Nizhny Novgorod concluded hosting duties for the World Cup this week when it staged France s 2-0 quarter-final win over Uruguay.
Antoine Griezmann was the star of that game and earned plenty of kudos on social media later for his gracious comments about how important the South American country has been to him in his career.
Elsewhere, Omnisport decided to slap the notion of a rest day square in the face by sending a reporter up and down the famous Chkalov Staircase, complete with some inspirational backing music.
There was some far more impressive marching from France fans, too, as you can see in our collection of Nizhny s best week-three moments below.

Euro 2020 final: Spain provided the blueprint to dull Italy´s strengths, now England must rise to th
There was a sense of justice and vindication about Italy reaching the final of Euro 2020. They had been arguably the most entertaining side at the tournament and attracted near-universal levels of acclaim for their performances.
Added to that, there was an inspiring narrative that followed their every step, how they d recovered from the failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, started from scratch with a new coach and philosophy, and seen it all come together at their first major tournament since.
But they were fortunate to get beyond Spain in the semi-finals, eventually coming through on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
La Roja did more than enough to win the match, their 1.5 xG almost double the 0.8 that Italy recorded, highlighting the greater quality chances cre…
