Celtic have strengthened their striking options by securing Getafe forward Miku on a season-long loan deal.
The 27-year-old scored 12 goals last season, helping Getafe to secure 11th place in La Liga.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon was pleased with the deal, citing the potential lack of options up front as a reason to secure the player: He is a powerful striker and he is a player we rate very highly, he told BBC Sport.
His goalscoring record in La Liga has been very good. It was a department we thought we were a little short (in).
The Venezuelan has been capped 40 times for his country, and will provide competition for the likes of Georgios Samaras and Anthony Watt.
Miku started his career at Spanish side Valencia before joining Getafe in 2010. The forward has also had loan spells with Alcoyano, Salamanca, Ciudad Murcia and Gimnastic.
